SafeWalkMe. Always the safest path.

There are rare creative opportunities to create a niche, a brand, and a product all at once. This was one. I developed SafeWalkMe to help solve some of the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Social distancing became a matter of personal safety. Having a chance to plan a safe route is a life-saving idea.

Safe All The Way.

From the start, the idea was to create something that would represent peace of mind and safety. Taking inspiration from the harmony between Yin & Yang symbol as a representation of harmony and peace on a safe pathway. The logo also works perfectly as the app icon. For a platform that would work primarily on the phone, this was something I had in mind.

Finding the safest route.

Using the phones' location, SafeWalkMe helps the user find the safest pathway to ensure a safe 6ft distance from others.

You can also search for a region, ask for suggested areas or stipulate a path between two places. Extremely simple and user-friendly.

The “Preview My Walk” feature shows the path you are going to walk before you give your first step.

Walking side-by-side.

An online marketing effort was planned at the launch to support and promote the app.
